Обоснование: SIL Open Font License 1.1 — свободная шрифтовая лицензия. Для нашего сценария (шрифт включён/встроен в продукт, в том числе проприетарный и платный) — БЕЗОПАСНО: по OFL-FAQ включение шрифта в ПО НЕ считается «распространением шрифта» и не накладывает обязательств на продукт; исходный код продукта не раскрывается, продукт остаётся проприетарным. Имеющийся у OFL «шрифтовой copyleft» (same-license) и прочие условия касаются ТОЛЬКО самого шрифта и срабатывают лишь при отдельных действиях с ним: при распространении шрифта — сохранять уведомления и текст OFL; шрифт нельзя продавать ОТДЕЛЬНО (в составе ПО — можно); при МОДИФИКАЦИИ шрифта — не использовать Reserved Font Name и держать производный шрифт под OFL. На проприетарность продукта это не влияет → 🟢 Безопасно (при обычном встраивании; модификация или отдельное распространение самого шрифта — отдельная оценка).

ПРЕАМБУЛА

Цели Открытой шрифтовой лицензии (OFL) — стимулировать всемирное развитие совместных шрифтовых проектов, поддерживать усилия академических и лингвистических сообществ по созданию шрифтов и предоставить свободную и открытую среду, в которой шрифтами можно обмениваться и улучшать их в партнёрстве с другими.

OFL разрешает свободно использовать, изучать, изменять и перераспространять лицензированные шрифты при условии, что они не продаются сами по себе. Шрифты, включая любые производные произведения, могут поставляться в комплекте, встраиваться, перераспространяться и/или продаваться вместе с любым программным обеспечением при условии, что зарезервированные имена не используются производными произведениями. Однако шрифты и производные не могут выпускаться под каким-либо иным типом лицензии. Требование о том, чтобы шрифты оставались под настоящей лицензией, не применяется к какому-либо документу, созданному с использованием этих шрифтов или их производных.

ОПРЕДЕЛЕНИЯ

«Программное обеспечение шрифта» («Font Software») означает набор файлов, выпущенных Правообладателем(ями) под настоящей лицензией и чётко обозначенных как таковые. Оно может включать исходные файлы, сценарии сборки и документацию.

«Зарезервированное имя шрифта» («Reserved Font Name») означает любые имена, указанные как таковые после заявления(й) об авторских правах.

«Оригинальная версия» означает совокупность компонентов Программного обеспечения шрифта в том виде, в каком они распространяются Правообладателем(ями).

«Изменённая версия» означает любое производное, созданное путём добавления, удаления или замены — частично или полностью — любых компонентов Оригинальной версии, путём изменения форматов или путём переноса Программного обеспечения шрифта в новую среду.

«Автор» означает любого дизайнера, инженера, программиста, технического писателя или иное лицо, внёсшее вклад в Программное обеспечение шрифта.

РАЗРЕШЕНИЕ И УСЛОВИЯ

Настоящим любому лицу, получающему копию Программного обеспечения шрифта, бесплатно предоставляется разрешение использовать, изучать, копировать, объединять, встраивать, изменять, перераспространять и продавать изменённые и неизменённые копии Программного обеспечения шрифта при соблюдении следующих условий:

1) Ни Программное обеспечение шрифта, ни какие-либо его отдельные компоненты, в Оригинальной или Изменённой версиях, не могут продаваться сами по себе.

2) Оригинальные или Изменённые версии Программного обеспечения шрифта могут поставляться в комплекте, перераспространяться и/или продаваться вместе с любым программным обеспечением при условии, что каждая копия содержит приведённое выше уведомление об авторских правах и настоящую лицензию. Они могут быть включены либо в виде отдельных текстовых файлов, либо в виде читаемых человеком заголовков, либо в соответствующих машиночитаемых полях метаданных внутри текстовых или двоичных файлов, при условии, что эти поля могут легко просматриваться пользователем.

3) Никакая Изменённая версия Программного обеспечения шрифта не может использовать Зарезервированное(ые) имя(имена) шрифта, если соответствующим Правообладателем не предоставлено явное письменное разрешение. Это ограничение применяется только к основному имени шрифта в том виде, в каком оно представлено пользователям.

4) Имя(имена) Правообладателя(ей) или Автора(ов) Программного обеспечения шрифта не должны использоваться для продвижения, одобрения или рекламы какой-либо Изменённой версии, за исключением указания вклада Правообладателя(ей) и Автора(ов) или с их явного письменного разрешения.

5) Программное обеспечение шрифта, изменённое или неизменённое, частично или полностью, должно распространяться исключительно под настоящей лицензией и не должно распространяться под какой-либо иной лицензией. Требование о том, чтобы шрифты оставались под настоящей лицензией, не применяется к какому-либо документу, созданному с использованием Программного обеспечения шрифта.

ПРЕКРАЩЕНИЕ

Настоящая лицензия становится недействительной, если какое-либо из вышеуказанных условий не соблюдается.
